Getting Started

We've made many tools available to developers. Follow the steps below to start building your first application:

About the Melco LiveDesigner API

1.  Visualization

  • Generate Graphics for lettering elements (both print and embroidery) 100+ fonts for both embroidery and truetype.  Also have ability to upload custom designs and alphabets.
  • Generate Graphics for Vector designs (ai/eps/svg) and Embroidery Designs (ofm/exp/dst).  Can upload unlimited number of designs to our servers.
  • Generate Graphics for design templates.  For design templates can modify attributes like color/text/alphabet.
  • Supports advanced lettering features like enveloping and perspective.

2.  Fullfillment

  • Create fullfillment file(s) for lettering.  png/eps file formats for print and ofm/exp/dst file format for embroidery. 
  • Create fullfillment file(s) for designs.
  • Batch convert design files.  Can convert designs from any supported format ( for example for print could convert SVG to EPS or EPS to PNG, for embroidery can convert ofm/dst/exp to/from each other)
  • Get design info (ie number of colors, stitch count, dimensions, etc.)
  • Create fullfilment file for template.  Can modify colors/text of existing design file.

3.  Stitch Player

  • Play stitches in flash stitch player for any embroidery file
  • Also works with dynamically created lettering/templates

4.  Easy to use

  • To get image/fullfillment file only requires creating url then downloading

We limit the number of free calls so that we can manage demand for the service to deliver the best performance for the customers who are paying for Melco LiveDesigner API calls. If you’d like a higher call limit, please email us at MelcoAPI@Melco.com.
